I am sorry to have to publish this information. A church within Mission Presbytery has requested a craft sale at thier Alternative Gift Market for this week-end (4Dec11). Unfortunately we are not able to assist this time. The good news is that there are 3 craft sales goining this Sunday (4Dec11). The bad news is that the good folks at Northwood PCwill not have Guatemalan crafts for sale. It is for this reason that we stress that arrangements/requests for sales be made as early as possible. Had we been given advanced notice, arrangements could have been made to have enough crafts on hand and to deliver them for inclusion in this Alternative Gift Market. God bless you all for your support of the Mission Presbytery Guatemala Partnership Team and the craft sales that support our mission. Please give us a minimum of two weeks notice preferably four weeks so that proper arrangements can be made. |

The Guatemala Partnership Team would like to send out a huge thanks to the PW Clusters that have hosted our craft sales. Recently we were at Trasure Hills PC in Harlingen for the Lower Valley Cluster and at First Pres Seguin for Farmland Cluster. The ladies were very generous and sales went well. CESSMAQ and the peiple they support will use the money to further cary the word of God to the Mayan people of Guatemala. |

Thank you all who purchased items at the most recent craft sales at Ulvalde and at the PW Conference at Mo-Ranch. Even in these hard times you all are willing to support the Mission Presbytery Guatemala Partnership Team and CESSMAQ. Times are bad every where and the Mayan people of Guatemala know this all too well. Last rainy season crops were washed away, and the roads to get replacement crops and to get those crops that were salvaged to market were washed away as well. Many lives were lost as a result of the massive mud slides. I could go on and on. CESSMAQ is busy helping where it can and your support is deeply appreciated. If you would like to host a craft sale at your church event please make contact from our contact tab. God Bless you. |
